Tell us about your character

14th of November Today I found myself surrounded by madness and put my foot in it! I was surrounded by the strangest gathering of adventurers I'd ever laid eyes on. Only the stout Dwarves and the most honorable Lady Ceanna revealed this wasn't a theatre play. And yet, they spoke openly of inconcievable expeditions and handing out titles of nobility. Then a man named Leonir insisted that I should join their quest and seek a greater calling. He allowed my leave only on the promise that I'd consider it. How ludicrous! But I'll keep my word and seek the headmaster's advice. 15th of November The headmaster was not as dismissive of Leonir's offer as I had hoped. Surely, the best use of my talents is in the library? Tomorrow I will present my new blue ink recipe to the other scribes. I have prepared many presentation documents to show its qualities and perfect coloration on different parchments. That is bound to cause a stirr and cement my future in the library. 16th of November My fellow scribes showed appreciation for the new ink, and I'm grateful for their kind gestures. I fear this revelation of a new ink recipe was less exciting than I had hoped for. I consulted the headmaster, for books are my passion and a book can only exist when there is parchment and ink. The headmaster replied a book can only exist when there is something worth writing about. I had never considered writing a book about making books, but I fear that is not what the headmaster meant. 17th of November My ink bottles and parchments have never been more empty, but neither can carry another drop of ink. Leonir has bewitched me. I feel bereft of my passions. Is this how young soldiers are made ready to march to their deaths in pointless wars? Are they bereft of any sense of fulfillment until they stood in the front lines of a battle? This all feels needlessly dangerous. 18th of November After a troubled sleep, I spoke the headmaster again. At his suggestion I started packing my gear. I donated many of my writing materials to the Abbey even if I expect to be back soon. It seemed a fitting gesture. This quest is folly and we'll undoubtedly turn around before reaching our destination. But perhaps, that does not make it unworthy of record. I set out for Stormwind tomorrow, before the light of day. 19th of November I accepted the innkeeper's offer to help with paperwork, tax calculations and some errands in exchange for a room, as per usual. Then I paid them the full price of the rent anyway. They are good people. They will put it to good use and I welcomed the work. I felt lost and alone in Stormwind's crowded streets. Maybe I should caution Leonir about the effect his words may have on people.

Hm, it seems the diary wasn't properly formatted so I'll put it here again.

Well, you have my vote, of course. Or, at least, you would if the Disciples were a democracy.
Leonir
Leonir using witchcraft arcane magic on something as trivial as nudging JP out into the world? Preposterous!
